Agent Config for Aider, Zed and JetBrains AI
These tools are export-only: init writes nothing for them. Install the package once, then export a file for the tool:
npx -y @event4u/agent-config initagent-config export --tool=aider --output=agent-config.mdThe note documents the wiring: point Aider at it with --read agent-config.md, or add it under read: in your Aider config.
Can it block? No — instructions only. Reload: start Aider again.
agent-config export --tool=zed --output=.zed/agent-config.mdZed reads a .rules file at the project root as instructions; the exported note explains how to wire it.
Can it block? No — instructions only. Reload: restart Zed; .rules is read on session start.
agent-config export --tool=jetbrains --output=.jetbrains/agent-config.mdThe note is written for JetBrains AI Assistant and explains how to make it read the content.
Can it block? No — instructions only. Reload: reopen the AI Assistant chat.
--output is required. The exported file is a real file, not a link: re-export after agent-config upgrade, and decide yourself whether to commit it.
